Anxiety disorders include generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, and panic disorder. . Panic disorder sufferers usually have a series of intense episodes of extreme anxiety, known as panic attacks. Attacks can last 10 minutes but can be as short lived as 1-5 minutes. Anxiety attacks vary in intensity and specific symptoms of panic over the duration. During a panic disorder a person may have a rapid heartbeat, perspiration, dizziness, shortness of breath and a psychological experience of uncontrollable fears.
