Meditation

Does anybody here meditate to help with anxiety and/or depression? It's something I have always wanted to try out and for some reason, never get around to. What incense (if any) do you use, what music do you have backing your sessions (if any)? Sorry for the quick-fire round, I'm just really wanting to give it a go and looking for tips.
 
Meditation is a great way to releive stress and tension. I burn jasmine incence and listed to instrumental music. Pan Pipes is a classic example.
 
Mediation is so powerful if you know how to tap into it. If you can be able to hold your focus, it's capable of helping you to deal with kind of stress and pressure.

I take part in mediation every morning before going to take my birth.
 
I have tried to get into meditation but it's very difficult for me. I always get distracted very easily and it's why mediation never works for me.

It's definitely a very good way to relax and calm one's nerves for those that are capable of getting into doing it. I'm still struggling with it but I will keep trying.
 
I always try to meditate especially in the morning before going out because it is one good way of getting to calm my nerves before jumping into my daily life routine which doesn't take it easy on me at all. I usually get distracted very easily but I am still trying to learn how to focus very well when I'm meditating.
 
Meditation really helps big time especially if you know how to get into it actively.

I have been practicing mediation for 3 years now especially whenever I'm stressed out.
 
Even without being depressed, mediation is something that's very good for the mind. It's why I learnt how to do yoga. It's been an excellent experience for me for years.
 
Meditation is really helpful and it cures anxiety and depression. You can meditate at home and get the best result. Taking some time to meditate before going out everyday is what I have been doing.
 
I have not tried meditation yet to help with depression or even anxiety but my mum has told me many times about an app that she uses that helps a great deal with her anxiety and such, I have yet to install it and give it a go.
