Hi

Loss of a source of livelihood is also a leading cause of depression. Such individual starts thinking of how to survive, especially if they have a family depending on them.

They start to worry about a lot, which can cause anxiety and thus depression.
Knowing the triggers of depression can help its management.

I have to admit that not knowing where your next meal is going to come from can cause depression. I have been there before so I understand how it can happen so.

Losing a job can make someone feel depressed but if the person stays for too long without getting another job, that's when the depression becomes too critical.
