Academic Depression, Anyone?

One of the causes of depression that I have been through in my life was my academics. There was a session I had to carry over 4 courses I had failed. It was a very difficult time for me.

Have you experienced such with your academics?

I will surely feel depressed over failing my course especially when there's a chance of my getting expelled from school. A friend of mine was in that predicament years ago when we were still in college. It was never easy.

With how expensive it is to pay for tuition fees and someone still ends up falling, you're bound to be depressed. A lot of us are studying with student loans, it's not easy one bit.

I've never been depressed as a result of my academics because this is what I have been prepared for before I gained admission into the university. There is no way I would let my education stress me so much that I am going to start feeling depressed over it.

I've heard about academic depression but fortunately I have not been through this kind of situation because I have always taken my academics very seriously. I know how difficult it wasfor my parents to pay my tuition fee. I can't mess that up for them.

When I was in school there were times when I just got tired of it all. The classes, the exams, the stress. Why go through all those stress for a certificate that I am not sure I will use to make a living? But I just had to push it through, I started it already. It was not easy, but I scaled through.

Having some carry overs in your course will really cause one to be depressed. I was opportuned to pass all my courses but one of my classmates have to stay back to complete his courses that he carried over. It was never easy but he came out triumphantly.

It can be so hard for students especially if they have to work to support themselves in school. Dont allow a few bad results to deter you, it should be a drive to motivate you to work harder.

It was Grace that saved you because saying that you took your academic seriously doesn't mean you were too upfront than others. Others did too but circumstances get hold of them.

I can't say that I have ever felt depressed when I have failed a course but I do remember feeling quite depressed after I failed to pass my driving test quite a while ago. I knew why I failed and it just made me that much more frustrated when I failed.

Knowing why or the reason you failed would have given you the strength to try again. Our minds know how to decieve us to become frustrated in what we did our best to get out.
