It's always very difficult when a parent is suffering from depression. They would still need to do their duties as a parent and that's never made easy by the existence of depression.

When you're not getting the support they are supposed to give to you when you're depressed, it's best that you withdraw from them. Getting those that are willing to help you recover is very important.
