I'm not trying to be disrespectful of anybody on here. However, do you feel there was "more than what meets the eye" with the central character? Could there have really been a spiritual dimension to everything?
I think it was just a movie. It looks so real that I have this thought then. There's nothing like mental illness among any character in exorcist, it was just a script and the central character did a good job on it.
It was just a movie and I didn't put much interest in what ever they were doing in terms of deliverance or exorcism. The central character was a normal person, they are playing from the instructions given.
