Polygamy vs Mogonogamy?

I certainly wouldn't impose my choice of lifestyle on anyone else, but if I were into relationships, I'd be strictly monogamous. Why? because I think the jealousy is pretty hard to handle at least for me personally anyways. I have a few polygamous friends and they assure that they can work it out just fine, but I don't think I could take it, especially not the drama and jealousy that come with a polygamous relationship.

From what's going on in the world today, even managing a monogamous family is very difficult and some fool would want to get into the hassle of running a polygamous. It's not something healthy to do to your kids.

In the Bible polygamy existed and was approved of, not sure if reluctantly or not. In that case, I don't really know if polygamy can be doable without jealousy etc. or not. I suppose it could. Of course, in some cultures one woman shares many men, but that's not seen in the Bible.

Remind me again, how many wives and concubines did King Solomon have in the Bible? Was there any record of him not being able to manage and run his family Successfully? Was any record of fighting with any of his wives and concubines? It's today's generation that's broken.

I once discovered that I could have two or three partners in love, and I would be happy having several people that I love 🩷

That’s totally fair. Knowing your limits matters, and if monogamy feels healthier for you, that’s the right choice. No need to force yourself into something just because it works for others.
