Kids Taken Cause Parents Have Mental Illness - Debate

It's often a nightmare to see kids placed in foster care, especially, or grandparents etc. However, what if the best interest of the kid is obviously removing them? Well, another terrible tragedy is when consequences for disobeying social services makes it to where - there isn't even limited visitation at all.

What's your thoughts?

If the parents are not in a good mental condition to take very good care of their kids, it's best to take away the kids from them. It's going to be painful to place the kids in foster care, it's still the better option than being with potentially mad parents.

There is no way I would support for a parent who isn't mentally and physically stable to be in custody of his/her kid because there is no way they can be able to take care of the child responsibly without endangering the kid's life.

The best solution is to take the children to a foster home. A parent that's not mentally stable can't train a child or take care of them. The first thing to do is to take the children away and get help for them.

Having a serious mental illness makes it impossible for the parents to take care of the kids as they are supposed. They can't even take care of themselves in that situation, so they are not in any position to look after and take care of their kids.

It's better the kids cried when they are being taken to a foster care than leaving them with their sick parents. Maybe when they grow up, they will understand the reason they were separated.

Well o don’t know how parents that have mental issues can raise up kids properly. I am in support of the kids taken away from them, but they should be placed in homes of close relatives.
