I would say that this is a common misconception.
Kids and teens can experience depression too, and it's often linked to various factors like bullying, academic pressure, family issues, or even chemical imbalances.

Their feelings are valid, and it's crucial to provide support and understanding.
 
I will make sure to look after my kids bevause there are so many things that can cause depression for them especially bullying. I will recommend teachers to also look out for kids in their classes, it starts from there.
 
That’s not true. Kids can feel depressed too. Stress from school, home, or life changes can affect anyone, no matter their age.
