How do you handle an obsessive relationship?

I've been in a toxic relationship but never in an obsessive one in the past. If I happen to be in a relationship with someone who becomes obsessive, I'll leave the relationship immediately.

There is very little difference between someone that is toxic and someone that is obsessed. They always want to have the relationship go their own way which is quite selfish.
