How do you handle a panic attack?


A panic attack can come out of nowhere and hit you suddenly so it is always best to have a plan in place to deal with a panic attack when it strikes.

If you are someone who suffers from panic attacks quite often, what do you find works well in helping you handle them?
I haven't experienced panic attack. I have heard stores about panic attack killing people but I haven't notice it in myself or happening around me.
There is a technique I have learnt, which is being self aware. I feel my feet touching the ground and I clench my fists for some seconds. Then I take a deep breath in and out three times. It works so well for me.
