Most times when I feel down I have phrases that I read to myself. Phrases like “You are enough, this shall pass, you can withstand this” have helped me battle with negative feelings.

These phrases can help depressed people as well, if they have their own personal phrases or sentences they repeat to themselves.

Do you agree that this helps?

Any sane and reasonable human being love and appreciate it whenever they are talked to in a good manner. It makes someone feel very good. If the person is depressed or desperate about something, it will help soothe them.

Yes it does wonders if someone else is even giving the talks. But one should not depend solely on others, they can do well by giving themselves this pep talks regularly.

Sometimes I tell myself 'If you can survive up to this point in your life, you can survive just about anything'. And that keeps me going.
You have found out what actually works for you and you stick to it. Small talks can go a long way in boosting your self esteem and confidence.

Any kind of positive thing have a good effect on anyone from my experience. This is why positive pep talk is a good strategy to impact on people in a good day. It does wonders for those suffering from depression.
