Depression and Appetite?

If you are depressed or even suicidal, then you don't have much if any appetite at all. At least not for me anyways when I've been suicidal or depressed.

I have been depressed once or twice in my life. It's never a good feeling at all because you will hate life and not fancy anything at all. I haven't been suicidal but I lost my appetite always.

Whenever I am feeling depressed, I always find that my appetite is not where it should be and I can sometimes go days with only eating little bits when I feel like I need to.

I hate when I get like that as I know it's not good for me or my body but sometimes depression just leaves you feeling that way.

Depression is a really serious predicament to be in. You won’t have the drive to do anything, not even eat. The lucky ones are those that can use food as therapy for their depression.

Why should one be eating when sadness occupied the body, mind and soul. It's not easy to find appetite while depressed. The only reason why someone can eat or try to eat is when taking antidepressant.
