Bullying and Depression?

Yeah, I had the same experience when I was still a kid in high school. I tried fighting them off but they kept beating me down. I used to get at least 2 bruises every day and it was damn depressing to deal with.
 
They should make a law which would have bullies in jail. If they are kids, they should be kept in juveniles cell. This is will definitely halt bullying.
 
From my experience, I know that anyone whom have been bullied for a very long time in his or her life will always be suffering from depression because it is never easy dealing with bullies in someone's life.
 
I used to get bullied at school a lot. I remember there were different reasons why I would get bullied. Some bullied me for being short, some bullied me for being shy and some bullied me for having blonde hair.

I feel the bullying is why I am the way I am today with social anxiety.
 
I am a teacher, so I understand the impact bullying can have on a student’s mental health. They would always isolate themselves, they won’t interact and they battle with feelings of inadequacy and low self esteem.
 
I have wonder why school management won't deal with bullies. Bullies need to be taught some lessons so that others will stop being like them. Several movies I have watched, I have seen how these isolated kids will be depressed and also have a skip of mind whenever they remembered that they are going to school.
 
Bullying is among the major causes of depression among school goers. If care is not taken one might take that feeling even to adulthood and can affect our view of life in general.
