Are there specific self-care habits that help lift your mood?

Depression can happen to all of us, some of us get slight depression and others tend to get depression pretty badly.

Self-care is often advised to help with depression but this is not always going to help everyone.

If you regularly participate in self-care routines, are there any specific habits that help lift your mood?
 
The best self care habit that have helped me so much when I feel down is meditating. Once I'm done with my sessions, it works so well in lifting my mood with so much positivity.
 
My self care is listening to music and playing games on the computer/phone and hanging with friends. And of course cuddling my dog.
 
Reading is an activity that helps me combat with feelings of loneliness sometimes. Reading transfers me to another realm of world, and it works wonders in keeping me depressed free.
 
For me, self-care habits that have helped me so far in all my dealings are reading and playing music. The best is that I can be worried and play some music to get myself back.
