Anxiety and depression are both mental health conditions, but they have distinct characteristics and symptoms.

Anxiety is primarily characterized by excessive worry, fear, or nervousness about future events or situations. People with anxiety may experience physical symptoms like a racing heart, sweating, trembling, or difficulty concentrating. Common types of anxiety disorders include generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and social anxiety disorder.

On the other hand, depression is marked by persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or a lack of interest in activities that were once enjoyable. Symptoms of depression can include changes in appetite or sleep patterns, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and feelings of worthlessness or guilt.

It is important to know the difference so as to know how to handle them.

I'd say that everyone has battled feelings of anxiety at one point or another as it is more common. But depression is a more serious case, it can even lead to suicide.

Yes, anxiety is a feeling people experience more often than depression. Anxiety can be easily managed, and most times can go away on its own after some time. But depression can be for a lifetime.
