How do you handle anxiety when it strikes at work or in public places?

Anxiety doesn't have a specific place that it will trigger and it will always trigger when you least expect it. In most cases, anxiety tends to be worse for those who suffer in either workplaces or public places.

When you are at work or in a public place and anxiety strikes, how do you handle it? What tips do you have that could help others in a similar situation?

I have learnt to breathe in and out consistently, avoid talking and staying calm even if eyes are on me. Keeping my hands at my sides will help me so that I won't be shaking.

Thankfully I have learned to be so occupied with work, so I never get to experience such feelings at work. Those that experience them can say for sure that they usually strike when they are alone.

Anxiety doesn't only happen in the closet or when the person is alone. Some anxiety happens in the public and this is the reason you will see somebody fidgeting because they saw or were asked to speak to the public. When I experienced this outside, I talk to myself deeply and slowly.
