Depression can have a really tough impact on a relationship. It can make it hard for both people to connect, communicate, and enjoy things together. It can also lead to arguments and misunderstandings.

What other effects do you think depression can have on relationships?

If someone who's depressed and also in a relationship find it very difficult to communicate with his or her partner, it will hard for the relationship to survive. But if they do, their partner should support them 100% to help them get better.

Communication is a very important aspect of a relationship. If it is lost then there is high probability that the relationship is doomed already.

Exactly! Depression or not, all forms of human relationship need good communication to thrive. When there is depression, that's when when communication is far more important.
