How do you stay hopeful during difficult times, and what keeps you going?

Depression can trigger at any time and we are never prepared for when it may hit and how long it may last. During those difficult times, it is wise to stay as hopeful as you can, to understand that the feeling will pass and you will start to feel more yourself very soon.

When depression hits for you, what do you find helps you stay hopeful and keeps you going?
 
I tell myself that it is a phase that will soon pass away. No feeling is eternal, so there will definitely be a time when I would not feel exactly great. But it will surely pass.
 
I keep talking to myself to wade many negative things and start being intentional about things I do that period.

I can't forget my mom so easily, she's my strength and I am always energetic whenever I remember her.
