It can be hard to fight depression alone, that is why support groups are recommended. They consist of people that have the same issues and they can find solace and comfort in themselves.

Do you think support groups is a good idea?

Yes, support group can help those who are depressed. Talking about one's depression will likely bring about hearing how others are managing their own which helps.

It does give people the feeling that they are not alone in this, and they can receive help from others as well.

Yes, I'm very sure that support groups help so much for someone who's suffering from depression. The real challenge is finding the right support group that can be very helpful.

I am sure it is not that hard to find support groups online. You can try Facebook, I will recommend it more for that kind of groups.

Support group is good for both the depressed and those that are really in need to look for someone or somewhere that they can feel safe. I can still recommend it for anybody that I care for.

Whenever you are depressed, I believe that doing anything possible to help yourself recover is advised. If using support group is something that will help you through the moment of your depression, I suggest that you take that very seriously.

There are times when depressed people are not even willing to help themselves. They know what to do but they find it hard to help themselves.

I think they don't know what to do because if they do, they are going to want to help themselves. The problem is that they don't know how to speak up and ask for help.

They can't help themselves if they are not talked into it. The more they isolate, the more you never get chance of talking to them. Thank God for the awareness, it helped them to be bold enough to meet people passing through the storms like them.

Support groups help very well when it comes to depression. If they don't help, a lot of people whom have been using it would have called them out.

That's true. Had it been that they are not doing well or no positive outcomes from it, people would have said so or discourage others not to join.

These groups are put together by people that have been depressed before and have overcome it, or they are still battling it. So no one can call anyone out.
