I have noticed that some people don't like being hugged. They can barley give you a hand shake when you give them a hand and I can't seem to understand why. It's not about COVID because some people I know way back don't like hugs. I feel that they think it's not hygienic. What do you think?

Hello everyone, I'm happy to be here. I used to be depressed some years ago because of how bad I was treated in my relationship. It was a very toxic and hurtful relationship. It left me so broken. I'm happy to join this community.
