Music has always been a fallback for me when I've been feeling especially low. Ironically, I listen to depressing music when in these states but I find they really help. Here are a few albums that have helped me through. What are yours?

Bereavement comes to us all at some point in our lives, sadly. At times like this, it's easy to hit rock bottom and fall to pieces and you're forced to restart your personal healing process. Any advice to the bereaved that can be offered will surely fall on welcoming ears.
Two of my kids are far too young to understand. My oldest suffered depression when he was about 19 (he's 22 now). It felt good to be in a position to be able to relate and advise. He's coping much better now.
